Dance Practice Log — Free Editable and Printable Template
Keep one practice focus, one observation and one next step for each session. This free log saves entries in your browser and lets you print or download them. It works independently of a Danzu subscription.

Entries stay in this browser. They are not sent to Danzu or synced to your app.
Add a session to start your log. Use one clear focus and one next step.
How to use the log
- Before practice, choose one thing you can observe, such as placing a step on the beat.
- Write the music and section so you can repeat the same task. Add BPM if you know it; leave it blank if you do not.
- After practice, record what you actually noticed in your video. Avoid making the whole session about a single score.
- Choose one adjustment for the next session.
Illustrative example
This is a sample entry, not a customer result: Focus: “Land the side step on counts 1 and 5.” Music: “Same chorus, first two eight-counts.” Observation: “I rushed the second eight-count.” Next step: “Repeat slowly, then film once at the original tempo.”
